First time I saw the 05's at a dealer I was in love with them. Then when I saw the Windviel Blue I had to have it. When I was a teenager - long time ago - I called this color metallic blue and dreamed of getting a 57 Chevy and having it painted this color.
Like others, I have had a lot of compliments and head turning with this color.
I have posted some pictures of my 05 beside my 68.
Just a nice day cruise in the Badlands of Alberta, thats my wee dug in the back poking her head out in the one shot. Thats one BIG Dinosaur just behind the Pony, can you see it? Still having so much fun and excitement driving the WB 05 GT! Hope you like the shots?

What a beauty and good taste you have! I ordered mine middle of May....can't wait to get it!!!! So far I haven't seen a windveil blue vert anywhere here in my area. I am using your pic as background so that I can stare at it every day until I get my own ride...ha, ha. Mine will be a V6 vert, premium, sport appearance package (I chose the black logo/stripes on the side) black top, charcoal seats, and the upgrade interior package ....whoohoooo!

I got my car two months ago. SO. MUCH. FUN!!! Windveil Blue with a parchment convertible top and parchment leather interior. Because I'm in Florida, I consider this car to be very "beachy-looking". I get TONS of compliments on it. I originally started out wanting red, but DH lusted after the blue because it was so close to the color of the '67 fastback he once owned. And when I saw the blue with the parchment - I fell in love with it.

Short update to my situation. W/B GT is scheduled to be delivered to the dealer near here on Monday. If its what i want/need, I will be signing papers on Monday. I am anxious to join the many wonderful W/B owners out there. I agree its a great color, and many congrats to those of you who already own them!

I got mine right around valentine's day. I have the only one around - I have seen a GT in Black and a few red one's but NO OTHER WINDVEILS !! I love being unique and everyone looks at the car - from little kids to grandparents !!
I was heading south on I-75 today and observed a 2005 Windveil blue pony coup on the side of the road. Driver talking with a florida trooper.
Hopefully just a warning.

I had a cop stalking my car - he would park across from my house and stare. I went next door to the cop who lives there and gave him the Mustang brochure from the dealer and told him to give it to the creepy mustang stalker officer and this message "buy one for yourself - you are creeping ,e out". haha
...Havent seen him since ! Attached is a pic of my stang and vette. Blonde chicks with fast cars RULE !
