OK, heres one more. You'll notice that my pics have the word "accident" in them. Well, I hit one of my neighbors mailbox coming home last night.............
Snapped the right hand mirror off, dented the right fender above the tire well, put a thin scratch all the way down the right side, and dented the wheel well above the rear tire. It could have been a whole lot worse. But its still $1,500 worth of damage.
Its gonna be a while till I actually join the club. But for now...
Ordered 06.25.05:
'06 Windveil Blue/Parchment GT Coupe Deluxe, Manual, IUP, 18" wheels (64E), Shaker 500, side air, active anti theft, spoiler delete.
Might change some things around a bit before I'm serialized, but the W.B./parchment combo I just love. All they'd tell me at my dealer was 'Fall', another place said the best they could do was 12 weeks minimum (i.e. 'Fall'). *sigh* I'll just have to look at all your pics till then.
Picked mine up 6/1/05 still only has 400 miles on it. I love the color and tan interior. Got the premium with all the bells and whistles. After market 18's really set it off. I love the stock look and will not touch it. Maybe a few mods under the hood but I expect to pick up the Shelby .... First on the list at my dealership. Then my baby blue won't be so lonely...! Send pictures soon.
Just got mine home. I posted a separate thread, but yeah I'm pretty enthused. I consider myself lucky to have found the EXACT color, interior and options I had on my wish list. Great dealer experience, he actually held it for me for almost a week on the strength of a phone conversation with not a dime from me in deposit. According to him he turned down offers above MSRP to hold to his promise of MSRP to me. This car is awesome.
Got mine back in March (ordered in November!) V6, manual, ABS/TC, active alarm, wheel locks. So far have dropped in a K&N filter, added OEM GT front and rear sway bars and have ordered a CDC chin spoiler. Thinking about adding the left exhaust pipe from a GT with GT mufflers and tying in downstream of the Y, but the stock exhaust is pretty low restriction for a 4.0 L engine. Probably not worth the money.
Named her Dixi because the Windveil Blue reminds of Baby Blue, which reminds me of the classic Badfinger song, which is about a girl named Dixie. (I took off the 'e' just 'cause that's how she wanted it.) Plus I drove down from suburban DC to Richmond, VA to pick it up. Dixi has the greatest butt I've ever seen, on car or woman. I am wanting to spend alot of money on her to make her happy. I am WAY in love with my car. (BTW, my wife fully supports this affair.)
