See posting # 2976 under TRACKING to see pics. Boy is she sweet!!! Saleens281 posted pics for me. It was beyond my limited ability with these new fangled computer things. Only Baliff seems to be older and I'm not sure he has a Perf Wht GT. :thumbup :thumbup
here are two pics of my car, and the pic on my display is also my car, I just got the car 3 days ago. my car is stock and thats the way it will be, some cosmetic mods might be preformed later on.
The license plate frame in the back was changed to Chrome w/Red etched lettering that has Mustang up top GT on the bottom.
Monday the Painted & striped chin spoiler gets installed . That will pretty much be it cosmetic wise, unless a Hood comes out that blows me away . Next it's time to recharge the Bank Account & plan for some performance upgrades
Thanks....

Here's mine. I got it in November 2004. V6 Deluxe 5-speed auto. Only changes are the racing stripes and XM radio. No plans for any more mods. I love it just the way it is.
The choice of colors, stripes and cobra emblems were meant as a modern tribute to the Shelby GT 350. Besides, V6 or V8, who gives a crap! It's a Mustang!!
Need advice quick - I have an 05 gt in Windveil blue, automatic I fell in love with last fall and bought it, so that is my everyday driver. But in April the dealer had a performance white, manual, red interior, and I had fallen in love with the3d carbon boy racer, so I bought this one on a whim and had the dealer order the body kit, w/wing, and put Zenetti 5chromes in 18x8.5 front 189.5 rear and added red racing stripes. I thought the car was sort of bland? DOn't ask why!
The body kit just now arrived! During the interim I have been driving the car alot, I had gotten to the point where I choose to drive it daily over the blue one (the stick is sooooooooooo much fun) and the car looks HOT!
It is referred to as a Beast, just stock with the wheels and stripes. My reasoning for the body kit was I could pay 6000 more and get the body kit, paying sticker for the car, or I could pay 3000 over sticker for the car and get nothing! The dealer thought he was going to make his money either way.
Well turns out the whole installation is botched. THe dealer paint guys painted the pieces the wrong color of white (what idiots) and the specialist called in to install the body kit did his standard bolt it on Razzi body kit install which does not work on this urethane kit, it needs alot of nip and tuck and remolding to fit right.
The dealer aftermarket guy took my baby to a local high end color shop who gave him an estimate of $7000 to repaint and install the body kit. The dealer guy has opted to have his guys repaint the body kit and have the colorshop reinstall it at a mere cost of $2200, all of which the dealer is paying for.
This body kit is extreme, but really badass.
MY PROBLEM-now I don't know what to do. I will be getting the better end of this sale (I think), I know $6000 is a bargain for a high quality installation of this bodykit...but after driving her for three months the way she is (stock) I am in love and not sure I want the body kit. I don;t think I would drive her nearly as much with the body kit (the attention factor would be annoying, especially during mid afternoon in suburbia) which is what i intended in the first place, not to drive it much except on the weekends. But should I pass up a chance to have a one of a kind 05 stang here in the midwest (which is a boring enough place to start with)?
I have the original bumpers etc and could always go back to stock at a small cost to install, since I have the stock and new parts striped, I could always put the stock wing back on to reduce the attention factor. I do have my blue 05 Gt to drive daily.
What a problem to have ...huh? But I was really moved by you guys' comments about stock is better...I tend to agree now, but my flashy side says "what a bargain for such an original".(and it really is a goodlooking kit)
But for $6000 I could put an awful lot under the hood! (presuming the dealer will refund my original cost) I think I am at a point I could easily ask for a refund.
Please, all opinions are needed, and soon.

Personally I like the 3-D kit but it seems like way too much $$$$ I had all my mods done for a fraction of the price by way more qualified installers than the dealer.
I don't quite get what you mean by $6k Vs. $3K ?? Are you saying the dealer sold you for 3K over sticker ???
Bottom line is it seems you answered your own questions. I'd kill the project . The suggested retail for the entire 3d carbon kit is only $1600 again that's retail which means you may be able to get one for 1400-1500. $4500 to paint & install that kit is obscene . Find your own Body guy & you can have the same thing done wayyyyyyyyy cheaper. Or like you said it's already striped & has wheels , put the $$$ into the drivetrain. My 2 cents
