06 tungsten ordered with spoiler delete. originally i was going to go with a CDC ducktail, so i called and changed my order so i wouldnt have to deal with holes from the stock one. but now i am undecided, as the car looks pretty good without anything....
ORiginally when I had my 05 I wish I would have got one that was deleted so I could do a Ducktail as well without the holes issue, but now I am really into the whole no spoiler thing.

yeah, i still may do the ducktail, but i am in no big hurry. no spoiler really sets it apart too. arent many without it. the classic chin spoiler is on my list as well. (i like the aggressive too, but i wish someone had a grille for it, and then i would consider it. dont like the "wide open mouth" it gives the car.) plus i figure with tungsten, i would order the classic in black, finished out, and it would look good with the gray. i wouldnt have to paint it, and not have to worry about those pesky rock chips getting on it and making it look like crap within 6 months. (been there before with painted custom fiberglass front end pieces)
I purposely chose my Pony without the spoiler, with no intentions of adding one of any style later because I didn't want her to look like her 'mommy' was seeking a street race. Went the V6 because I preferred the Pony/Stripes logo on the back-end, didn't care for the GT foglights and the insurance is cheaper.
Changed out the original '05 grille for the '06 Pony Package grille... and created my very own, Personally Perfect Pony!

Sorry to budge in I want to get rid of my spoiler. I keep hearing you guys mentioning that the holes are a pain in the ass. I really love the way the cars look with the spoiler delete look. What am I up against if I want to do this. Thanks.
I went spoiler-less, as I thought it looked more retro. Also I think the car looks a little fat in the back and the spoiler made it worse. Too much junk in the trunk.

Ordered 4/26/05. Picked up June 11, 2005. 05 Mustang GT Premium Coupe, 5spd, Performance White, with red accent leather (ICAP), Shaker 500, IUP, active alarm, side airbag, spoiler delete. MODS: Baltimore Street Mods 10' red stripes and red rocker stripe. window tint. K & N aircharger. Pony Package fender emblems. Added 18" Polished Alum. Bullitts Hurst comp shifter
I removed my spoiler a week after I got the car. Looks a lot better with out it. Spoiler makes the rear end look fat. I found some plastic plugs at Lowes that fit perfectly into the holes and a little RTV to waterproof them.

Very good point I forgot... Definitely looks more retro without the spoiler.

Special ordered it without the spoiler. As there were no others to look at to see how it looked, I fretted until it arrived. Everyone thought it looked amazing without the spoiler. I agree.
Two of the car salesmen stayed late, in the shop to talk to me about it and my salesman did the detail work [wash, buff, wax, etc.].
I've ordered mine without the spoiler. I had a '97 T-Bird with the spoiler, it had an integrated LED as a 3rd brake light, and I really liked it. I had the car repainted and saw pictures of the spoiler off the car and I almost had them leave it off. I knew my next car would have no spoiler. They've become cliche - minivans hav e them now. Really, what's the purpose?
