Okay, it is official, I am starting the "pampered pet" registry. You belong in this registry if any of the following apply to you (but not limited to just this list):
1) You store your Stang away for the winter.
2) You only drive your Stang only on fair weather days.
3) You spend as much money on quick detail as you do on premium gas.
4) Not only is your Stang a garage queen, but it is tucked under a custom car cover and/or you have a temperature controlled garage.
5) You do a full blown car-show wash once a week if your Stang needs it or not.
6) You have rules established for what can and can not occur in the Stang.
7) Your mileage is less after one year than most will have in a month.
8) You get physically sick on the mere thought of dirt, grime or road debris on your Stang.
9) You refuse to commute in your Stang because traffic is unbefitting of your Stang.
10) You seek thearpy on the mere thought of breaking any of these established rules.
Now this is not a complete list, but give you a clue as to if you have a "pampered pet". Come one, come all, come let the world know you have a pampered pet.

Reason: typos
I knew you were going to do this. As I said count me in and proud of it. I even check the garage door for dirt on it before I open it up so nothing falls on the car.

Of course I am obligated to start this thread. I do not know if I have the biggest pampered pet (since all 10 rules , and more, apply to me), but I am close.
I am pretty close.
No car cover yet, no clue on what one to buy.
The car gets dusted every time it comes out, it gets a quick detail spray every second time it comes out.
I am six feet three inches tall you should see me clean the inside of the back window, a couple of days ago I had to have my wife help me get out I got a cramp in my ham string and I could not get my leg out. She is still laughing about it.

I'm in, cause I wont let any one else drive it! Plus they are way to scared to even get into it.

I have a waterproof custom car cover that she sleeps under during the night and days hours when I work. Well I'm still working on that garage thing...still eyeing a carport sometime in the future
Most of my friends and family knows the rules about riding in my car (i.e. no smoking, no drinking unless it's in a bottle, with a screw cap, SECURELY closed, no greasy/oily foods on the seats OR the floor and absolutely no eating, among the others).
Since I work at home, I have the luxury of deciding when she goes out to stretch her legs, and she usually goes for run around the 11 p.m. - 12 a.m. hour. Near no traffic on the roads where I lived, which means a lesser chance of another driver (perhaps jealous car) ruining her good looks by hitting her in an accident. Plus she avoids all the dump trucks that seem to be ruining around for all the new stores they seem to be building in Columbia & Lexington. Dump trucks dump...well dirt and rocks off their trucks that can chip and ruin my beautiful paint job, and I just can't have that.
She also gets a full deluxe car wash by me on a bi-weekly basis, waxed once a month, interior cleaned weekly & Armor-All'd at least once a month, and should any unbesmirching dirt get on her because her next regulary scheduled back, she gets a quick wash, rinse and dry off in the back yard.
I don't do any of the 10... Guess I won't be invited back to this thread
No but you granny shift..

ummm, no one is allowed to eat or drink in my car...
Does that count?
I am a scheduled maint. Nazi, and try my best to keep it clean, although it is my daily driver/commuter until it is paid off.

Count me in.
I fit all but 1 & 5.
Winters here aren't too bad here in Southern Virginia.. As long as it's clear and dry with no salt, I'll take the car out for at least a short spin.
My car never gets dirty, so it really only needs to be dusted before I put the cover back on. I think I washed it only about 4 or 5 times last year.

6. Yes
7. Yes
8. Almost
9. I don't commute, my F150 is my office

And I thought you were joking about creating this thread.
Funny thing is - I fit all 10 (or darn near), and then some!
1,2,
3-do it myself; I don't trust others to do it, AND I only use filtered water and the most expensive body towels I've ever purchased.
4-I lack a heated garage, but it's under a custom fitted cover
5 - It can't go back under the cover unless it's clean, so I better have time to wash her if I plan on driving
6,
7 - That's a stretch, I've been to my in-laws with it twice and that's 150mi round trip, and a 200+ mile excursion with the "off topic gang".
8,9,10 - pretty much right on.
Sitting at about ~2500 miles after 14.5 months = well under a tank of gas/month.
WOW - Mr. V, let me know if you find a therapist that works for this type of illness
