I have the auto, but it's a 5-speed, too. What I got is the "clutch delete option"...
Since I drag race quite a bit, it would make absolutely no sense to me to have a car with a manual trans in it. Auto trans are usually quicker, and much much more consistent.

07 GT. Exterior mods n/a. Engine mods, see profile.
One of the more powerful cars around.
One of the slower cars around.
Makes me feel like a kid every time.
After driving an Audi R8 yesterday I can say that the transmisions in our Mustangs, whether manual or automatic are very primitive by comparision. The Audi has a clutch but no clutch pedal, you can manually shift it with the paddle shifters on the steering wheel (just like a Formula 1 car) or leave it in automatic shift mode (standard or sport)and let it shift itself.
But then again the transmission in that car probably costs as much as a Mustang.

Not an accurate statement. Especially in a race only car.
