My very first mod when I was 18 was a pair of Cherry Bomb's. I had a new Dodge Challenger and couldn't wait to fire them up. I think the pair cost me $29. My cousin ran the parts store and gave me a buy.
Come to think of it they cost me more than that when I got stopped less than 2 weeks later.

I'm 45, but forever young in the stang. My first car was a 71 340 Dodge Demon (the only car I wish I still had). It was quick until the motor mount broke and the hood got dented. Oh, the memories in that car.

Ah yes, I remember those. I had a 340 Duster and a AAR Cuda, 70 Superbird and so on. Worked at the local Chrysler store as a kid and was hooked instantly.

I'll be 41 in two weeks.
Why is it somebody always starts things like this around my birthday?
The weekend I turned 30, a young intern refused my offer of coffee. Apparently, only old people drink coffee. Same weekend I find a great radio station, playing music I know and haven't heard in a while. The classics station. Great.
My sister, after seeing all my toys (trains, r/c cars and planes, etc.) once asked when I was going to grow up.
Never.

OK, so I've added a few things to it. Check my Profile - too many to list here.
42 here! When I turned 40 I vowed to get another stang, this is my third GT. Sold the first GT Vert when my daughter was born 14 yrs ago, and the second vert 3 years ago. When this body style came out I had to have one. It took me a year and half to decide on a color, then changed my mind overnite and went with orange. I ride my mountain bike 25 miles everyday, I can keep up with any of the youngsters around here!
52 going on 32, or so the guy in the mirror keeps telling me. First car was 65 Ford Galaxy, Red with White top and naturally had to put the Cherry Bombs on it and to really tell our age, turned the air filter lid upside town exposing a little of the filter and on WOT, you get that nice 4-barrel roar. Had that car thru my 1st year of college, till I forgot what antifreeze was for in the KY winter of 73. Cracked the block and off to the junk yard it went. Ahhh, such good old days.
FAR from a geezer! 6'1", 170lbs, full head o' hair....and can still kick some butt if needed!!
Although, I do have a two year old boy, and I think Father Time has finally found my address!!!
That's my little guy in the hat.
44 years old and a you have a 2-year old... geez, you're a masochist. LOL. I'm glad mine are grown. I was a grandfather at 37. haha. Hell, I don't have the patience even for the grandkids anymore it seems... I would absolutely hate to be raising kids full time right now. This "empty nest" thing is pretty cool.
