I'm 41, 42 in November. First car was a '77 Toyota Corolla station wagon. Manual steering, manual brakes, 5-sp manual trans, no AC, AM radio. Modded it immediately with a weber carb and pace setter header. It still couldn't get out of it's own way but it sounded fast. My '07 is my 4th Mustang. '86 GT 5-spd convertible, '65 289, 3-spd convertible, '00 GT 5-spd coupe and the '07.
Still feelin' 29 but the thinning gray hair quickly brings me back to reality.
You know your old when your favorite song is playing in an elevator.
The big question is what was the song?
Remember this elevator could be located in a upscale Tattoo parlor.

65 last March.
1st car was a 1949 Ford Prefect(Same as this one) that 4 of us paid 20 bucks for.
Great car.0-60 in 2.5 hrs.
Top speed, 80 mph down hill and with a tailwind.
I'm 54 but feel like a kid when I'm out in the mustang best thing ford did in a long time. I liked the T bird But didn't come with a stick otherwise would have got that, glad now they didn't love the stang.

So, what happened to the "sticky status" of this thread? And here I was starting to think us over 40's crowd was special or something....
I think it's working?
Sticky content refers to content published on a website, which has the purpose of getting a user to return to that particular website. Webmasters use this method to build up a community of returning visitors to a website.

I was thinking... (I know, dont do it much anymore) We should have a old Geezer (or Geezett!) Registry so Here it is.
The rules, no youngsters
I am thinking 40 +
It will be a place for just the mature Mustang owners.
No offense cause we really wish we were still young but were not.
So here goes.
Mike @ 52
I am not sure if this is a good thing or a bad thing...but apparently I am too young to be a "geezer" and too old to be a "youngin". However, in a few short months I will get my membership card to the geezers...lol. Am 39 and am mature for my age (ao all the youngins say).

Ahem, excuse me, don't you belong in the kiddie registry?
