The factory wheel studs are long enough to allow the use of 1/4" thick wheel spacers with most wheels. You must check the amount of thread engagement on your car to ensure that at least 6 threads are fully engaged after installing the wheel spacer.

Hey Robert, yeah the H&R spacers are the way to go, they are SSCA legal but not NHRA legal, so I would have to take them off at the strip. I like the fact that they are hubcentric, so wheel balance shoul dnot be a problem. Now I just need a pic of them on someones car...anyone..Bueller??

The 1" spacers Jules is talking about do not go over the original studs. They bolt onto the original studs and have another set of studs that the wheel bolts to.

You still need a good set of wheel studs like ARP.

I have a custom set of 3/8 spacers on mine with ARP screw in studs.

I have used ARP long wheel studs before with spacers. I highly recommend them

I was told not to get wheel spacers because of safety. However those from MM look well made and the feedback of them sounds good to me. I've got those 16" waffles on my GT and I wont have money for awhile to buy new wheels. So I'm thinking with the Steeda sport springs and wheel spacers, it ought to look sharp. Any thoughts or suggestions????

I have been useing a set of 1 1/4 inch spacers in the rear. With the 17x8 Cobra wheel and a 245 tire it does brivg the rear farther out. It does look more balanced. I only use them on the street, not the track, but they seem very well made. Someone stole my 17x8's at the track Friday night, so I ordered a set of the 17x10.5's with some 285 Nitto 555's for the street.
I don't need them any more, let me know if you want them. Maybe we can make a deal.

I am definitely interested, I'm just wondering if 1.25 spacers is too much. I was thinking about the 1/4 or at most 1". Let me sleep on it and I'll let you know. Thanks.
