Default road racing questions

hi i am interested in getting into road racing i love the drag strip "live by great lakes dragway" but idk it dosnt feal like im getting the most out of my 95 gt when im in a straight line. road america is an hour from my house aswell i think thats the only road course near me "racine wi" would anyone know if they have an open track day, or any other track near me. also any pointers how to make the car better in corners? i wanna lower it 2 inches what would be a good kit?

depends on what you already have done to the car. if you this is your daily driver i dont reccommend it although if it isnt your daily driver it would be cheaper if you got a mustang that was pre-modded or fully modded because if your starting with a stock mustang you will have to pay for material,time and labor and that is a pain in the ass.

Autobahn is in Joliet, right near RT66 drag strip, and the speedway.
Check out MVP Track Time
They run a handful events a year. The closer tracks to you would be Blackhawk, and Autobahn, in which they have events.

Its a good time. They have beginner novice and advanced groups.
And instructors on hand to help you out and even ride with.

I cant wait until my next outing June 2nd!
