Howdy, Folks! It was great fun to meet Scott, Twister and the Newfoundlander Roger. Scott and Roger rode with me for around 20 minutes each in N.A.S.A.'s High Performance Driving Event, and two more satisfied riders I've not seen. In my slightly modified '97 Cobra we'd kiss 120 MPH on the long, banked curve. Threading between two stacks of tires in a dog-leg turn at 80 MPH is also a rush!
There was a local paper, The Press-Enterprise, there who's coverage of Sunday is at

Super2NR TV, airing on TNN, was also there. The production guy I talked to said they'll have a segment on what they shot airing sometime in the coming weeks. Super2NR shows at 12:30 PM on Saturdays an 12:00 PM on Sundays and they were invited by one of the racers.
Rock ON! The car show was wonderful, and Orange County Mustang Club did a fabulous job. I especially like Scott's photo of president Frank Morales' little Hottie, er, uh, Cobra.
For anyone within driving distance of N.A.S.A. events east or west, the sound of the exhaust, the sight of the American Iron racers, and driving your car at your limit is simply intoxicating. It's also legal. When I hit 120 MPH one night in my former '91 LX on the street, I got uncomfortable and started looking for racing.
