I also have Suspension Techniques Springs installed in my 92 convertible and they lowered the car about 1 1/2" all round. Check my
Member Ride's Gallery to see pictures as to how it sits. I have them teamed up with Tokico 5 way adjustables, MM Camber/Caster plates, MM Adj Rear lower control arms and MM panhard bar.
The car looks and handles great! I have not had the car on the track yet so I can only comment that I find the springs an excellent choice for the street and beleive they would also perform well on the track. If you are looking for just the best drop from a set of springs, I would but my money on Suspension Techniques. While they drop your
stang into the grass, they also provide a very nice ride.
I too am a fan of H & R springs even though I have never ran them personally. I have heard nothing but good things about them from fellow mustangers who have had first had experience with them.
As long as you stick with a well recognised brand name such as H & R, Eibach, FMS and Suspension Technique you should be ok. I highly recommend you contact a company such as Maximum Motorsports and Griggs, who specialize in aftermarket Mustang performance suspensions and ask their advise. These guys really know their stuff. Just outline what you want to do with your
stang suspension wise and let these guys help you fill in the blanks.
I am also moving this thread to our Road Racing, Suspension & Handling forums where it is more appropriately suited. Good luck with whatever you decide.
