Subframe connectors, rear sway bar, strut tower braces, lowering springs, shocks/struts will all give better handling and can all be done easily enough in the driveway/garage. LCA's can sometimes be a ***** to do.
It is not too hard to get decent handling out of a V6. The V6 can handle pretty decently doing all that was listed above as well as a little weight reduction and fixing the steering geometry. Doing an IRS swap on a V6 would definitely get the weight bias much closer to a 50:50 than the SRA set-up, especially if you go with a 8.8" IRS rather than a 7.5" IRS. |
