I got a quote from the lower Belle Tire for springs and install for about $400. the springs are the Eibach pro-kit. does this sound like a pretty good deal? I dont want to attempt this own myself. I figure that they do alot of these so they wont mess any thing up.
Eibach's Are Great I Love Them Yea Springs Cost About $200
Install About $200 And Make Sure You Have Caster/Chamber plates And They Put Them On Right And Its A Good Idea To Get New Shocks And Struts If You Have The Money Eibach Offers Some Designed For The Lowering Springs But Regualar Shock&Struts Are Fine With The Pro Kit
If You Get Anything Lower Than The Pro Kit Offset Bushings And Different Shocks&Struts A Must
Always Get Caster/Chamber Plates

Guys, thanks for the advice, spoke to their manager, and he said that caster camber plates are an option but in "hundreds" of installs they havent put them on. I may go with just the springs as my vert has only 45k on it.
only having 45k miles on your car, other than being cool to have low miles, doesnt mean wether or not to get the caster and camber plates. they allow for more alignment adjustments when the car is lowered.

I have been running Eibach pro kit springs on my 95 for the last 4 years. It was a great improvment over stock, but if I had it to do over I would have gone with H & R's. I would get C/C plates I didn't and I cant' get my front end to full spec's and my front tire life has payed for it. My friend just switched over to coil overs and oh boy what a difference. My eibachs are on the way out and I have a set of coil overs on the way now.
I was saying that with only 45k and good ride quality I wont be getting shocks or struts right now.
maybe store manager didnt recommend the cc plates cause he wants to sell alot of tires, (ha ha). I am going to see what my local guy will do the install for along with the cc plates.
Yea U Can resuse ur stock shocks and struts i had 115k miles on mine so the old shock and struts needed to go plus i have sportline kit so mine is dropped alittle more and handles alittle different

check out suspension techniques springs they dropped my car approx. 1 1/2" and they help the car handle very well and the ride is not very harsh AT ALL (in fact i think it may ride a lil smoother) p.s. when you do but your springs...be sure to purchase spring isolators as well

I have eibach pro-kit springs and mine ride is very harsh! I think the stupid the speed shop put the wrong springs on my car!!!! This sucks!!! Is there any way to tell that they are the wrong springs by just looking at the springs, because the part number on the box is right for a GT... What should I do???
