AI Nationwide next weekend!

Folks-

After a quick scan of the schedules, I noted that AI will be running in three regions at once next weekend! AI-West will be at Thunderhill, AI-East is at Carolina Motorsports Park, and AI-Midwest is at Mid Ohio. Try to get out to one of these events if you can. I will be at the Mid Ohio race, so track me down and say hello.

Right on. I look forward to meeting all of you guys and talking over some of the plans for AI-Midwest. I will be in Cleveland on Wednesday night and down by M-O on Thursday night, so track me down if you can and we'll have a beer or three.

Nope, no racing. I have, however, reserved a V6 Mustang from Hertz to mix it up in HPDE.

Hahaha!!! I just mentioned doing just that in another Forum!

I was trying to stress the importance of track time - whether or not it's in a truly fast car.

My car won't be ready most likely - the crank was mis-machined, and I've been fighting some gremlins getting it in. But I'm trying to rent a Spec Miata. We'll see what happens!!!

Hey, when is Small Bore / SM qualifying anyway? Saturday morning? If I do rent I don't think the car will arrive until Sat AM....

Sorry for the delayed reply. I had to shag out of here on Saturday to go get the engagement photos taken. What a racket!

Anyway, Tim will have Lightning up at TH. He took the car to BW last Friday and spent some time harassing those GT3 Porsches that were at CA Speedway. He ran some low 2:00 times on #13CW, so he's tuned up and ready for TH. Fear Team Perfectly Legal.

Dunno when smallbore qualifying is at M-O. I think Lawrence might have the schedule up, but I'm not sure.
