i have a 68 mustang coupe with stock rear end, i think 2.73 gears. bored 30 with 496/500 cam arp rod bolts,edelbrock performer rpm intake,600 holley,crank 20 under with 65 289 heads gasket port matched. stock springs and valves.

Put it on a dyno. Find max HP and shift it there. I doubt it will be over 6K though.

thanks. i was told that 289's were screaming demons. and with arp rod bolts, i was thinking something higher.
