Wink want to go road racing in kansas

i live in salina kansas i have a 95 5.0 gts lowered,caster adj,sub. frame connectors,not much else car was set up this way when i purchased it a year ago since the i have installed sc v1 10#,tfs tw head ,r upper and lower stage 3 cam,stage 3 port work done by fox lake racing,75 tb,255pump,bbk reg,have fmu not hooked up.or exaust 2.1/2 flow master 40,. the car makes really good power off idle and killer power off corners but i have always been a drag racer but before i set this car up for straight line racing im interested in trying my hand at road racing or autocross.i really like the sound of the time attack.can someone give me any info of a race track or how to get started.do i need a cage.

You'll love road racing.

It's a whole other world compared to straight line racing though. It can be much more involved and can be a lot more expensive.

I don't know of any tracks in Kansas, but if you're willing to drive to Oklahoma there is a nice track up in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
