If you're taking your daily driver to the track with NASA, the HPDEs are a great way to have a lot of fun. You don't need anything for the track, just make sure your battery is secured and your battery cables are insulated. Make sure your tires have a fair amount of life in them, and spend your first day just getting to know your car. They'll send you out with an instructor, listen to him and don't try any crazy ****. Just take it within your personal limits around the track, and you'll have a lot of fun, and by the end of the day you should be going several seconds faster (depending on how well you started out of course) |
