I love my South side lower controller arms. There accelleration off the line is much better and your rear end jumps around much less. The parts are cheap but the work is a major pain.
Mine are ajustable. I can make the car go up or down.

Looks like the Mad Max interseptor and weighs about 1800lbs w/o motor (450hp 351w installed to move the car around)
Black, 82 Capri RS 5.0L, B303, 1.7 rockers, World 180 heads, +150hp N.O.S, Turbo coupe rear end, T-56(tremec tko would be beter), 80 cobra nose
Would adjustables be a good idea on a stang if i was thinking of putting a system in the hatch of my 87. total it would prob weigh about 200 pounds or so. will that make my rear sag and drag the pipes??
yes rear control arms in my opinion are the first mod anyone should do.
have you ever looked at stock control arms. they are crap. all they are is stamped sheat metal. i garantee if you put a set of at least lowers (i prefer both since your already in there) you'll hook up better you lauches will be straight and sliding around corners will be controlable. personally i get parts like those from www.jdsperformance.com i got mine for 175.00 for both uppers and lowers and free shipping. cant beat it.

MM is certainly a no brainer as far as quality goes. What kind of budget are you on? If you are simply looking for something to improve launches (control wheel hop and spin, side to side movement) D&D Motorsports non-adjustables or X2C are both very reaonably priced and good quality. They both give a more agressive bite (through slightly changed suspension geometry) and are no brainers to install. Although if you have the money, go with Maximum Motorsports. The architecture behind non-adjustable control arms is very simple and the current main stream manufacturers products are just about the same thing: they are made to close to identicle specs, and really only vary in price range...ie you pay for a name. I would stay away from fly by nite companies with no product history though. Also if you dont plan on adjusting the uppers why go with adjustable control arms at all? It sounds like from your opening post that you dont really have a specific performance need in mind, you are just looking for a much better set of arms. I would recommend non adjustable control arms with poly bushings...your gonna feel every bump in the road, but you are gonna launch a lot harder and get better 1/4 ET's too. Good luck.
