Question Coil Over Spring Rates??

I bought a coil over kit from D&D Motorsports and they sent me their 250# springs. They said that it's a good rate for a al. headed GT which will be daily street driven. Now I've seen other ads which include 175# springs and I'm wondering first: What spring rates are you guys who run Coil overs use, and should I have gone up/down or is 250# perfect for a GT coupe which may or may not run a tubular k frame (haven't decided yet).

Thanks!!!

Is that front rate? Mine are 400lbs front 275 rear for road course duty.

Yours doesn't sound to bad for everyday use. A friend of mine has 300lbs in front. It feels pretty stiff.

It's the front. Griggs said that they don't go any softer then 275#. My car is street driven in NYC.

I spoke with Griggs and they said they don't go softer then 275#. I'm gonna send the c.o. kit back and get 300# springs.
