Default 1968 Mustang Coupe - setting up road race suspension

hi i am building a 1968 mustang coupe that is a ground up project it will have a 1996 cobra 4.6L power plant and a mark VIII IRS rear end set up. I absolutely love the sport of auto cross and am dying to get into it. My primary questions would be what rules would i follow in building a front end. I will be running an upper and lower control arm set up as opposed to a strut so with that in mind. What should the caster, camber and tow in be. or rather where should i start and which way should i accomidate the most adjustment for tuning. Oh and also is it better to run with an open differential or a limited slip differential. thank you

Hi: You should check with whatever group you plan to autocross with in your area regarding rules. For instance, you may want to run SOLO 1 or II with your local SCCA, in which you will need to contact them. Chances are there will be a class for you no matter what you do. Then, i would attend some of their events and try to talk to folks who are running in your class to see what their setup is. Most of these folks will be very friendly and happy to talk to you. That will be the best way to find out how to build your car. Good luck
