Default revised alignment specs

Hi all

I hope this is the best forum to post this in, it is a suspension question. Does anyone have alternative alignment specs for a mustang without CC Plates. Mine always comes up in specs when I put it on the alignment rack, but it eats up the outsides of the front tires, the right moreso than the left. This makes me think that its an issue of Camber, it it was toe, the wear would be similar right to left, and I've always been told that caster usually only causes a pull.... not wear problems. Has anyone else noticed these wear charictaristics... oh yeah, I'm running 245/45r17s this may not be such an issue with cars on 16" rims.

Thanks

A quick way to check toe wear; drag your open hand acrossed the tread, if you feel edges on the way out (toward the out side of tire) than your toed in. If you feel edges on the way in(toward inside of tire) than your toed out.

In your case it could be toed in. Another reason for your right side more than left could be the direction you turn most of the time. When I was doing alignments I had a customer that lived on a corner house. She was doing a 180deg left turn into her driveway and wearing the right side outside edges.

Caster will not wear tires. in a straight line. You don't have CC plates so your caster can't be to much to wear in corners.

What are your current settings?
