Talking Killed 2 LS1 Vettes at Autox
Saturday went autox and i really didnt expected much, i drove steady but a bit careful since i have a bad tie-rod end, i didnt want to stress it too much and end up in the grass with a broken suspension or worse.

After the event ended i was just hearing the scores, 3rd and 2nd places went to some LS1 Vettes..and then i heard my name...wow i was completely surprised to be up front !!! i was only a couple tenths faster than 2nd place.

I am extremely happy about this, more so considering the guy that took 2nd place is a dedicated road racer... couldnt be happier for me but also for my local Mustang club, we did the "#1 dance" in front of the Vette Club mebmers

I have an onbaord video of the winning lap , will post tomorrow

Considering the price of tires and the chance of breaking a tie-rod, i was really not enjoying it that much

It gave me a good chance to see where i need to improve the suspension, definately need CCplates and rebuild all the front suspension components with stronger parts like Xball joint and some good tie-rods and a flamin river steering shaft, the stock one is trash.

The rear behaves great (GLobal west arms), but a torque arm could reduce the nose dive a good ammount. A panhard or Watts is also on my list.

MAXXIS Tires, hook ok i guess (threadwear 200). I have a set of Yokohama AVS Sports but i rather use the cheap ones at the track
