Update.....

I have a friend with a pair of Potenza's RE71 which are almost new. I know that they don't make this tire anymore but in size 275/40/17 and for 125 each....is it worth it? How's the performance on these tires?

I used to run Nitto 500Z 275/40's on my 85, they were ok, but my new Copper Cobra ZHP's are WAAAAAAY better. Never thought Cooper could make a kick a$$ Z rated tire did ya? Anyways, I got my Nittos from Discount Tire Direct if you still want to get them, but I highly reccomend the Cooper Cobra ZHP's.
