Arrow Redoing rear upper control arms worth it?

I have the starter box (http://www.maximummotorsports.com/giab.asp ) from Maximum Motorsports and a few other parts from them: casis stiffening along with lower adjustable control arms. Here are my mods: http://www.darrenneese.com/DAN/ViewA...Darren-MyStang

Seems like the next step for my rear suspension is to go with the panhard bar and torque arm. I'm not sure if I want to do this considering how much it will all cost.

I'm considering going with good upper control arms. Will I notice a big difference over the stock ones? If I understand it right, what Ford was trying to do with the upper setup was flowed in design. I'm concerned that if I went with aftermarket uppers it won't make much of a difference.

I was seriously considering these from Steeda: http://www.steeda.com/store/-catalog...rrearcarms.htm

Is this going to help me much, or do I need to forget about it until I can afford the panhard and torque arms?

If you plan to road race or autocross I wouldn't bother with the uppers. Unless your upper bushings are shot it isn't worth the time. If they are shot just order the FMS ones from MM.

You really don't want any poly in the uppers if you are going to do any turning. The snap oversteer will just get worse.

If you havn't already talk to Maximum Motorsport about the uppers. They will say about the same thing as LoneGunman. DO NOT use urethane in the uppers. Im on pretty much the same path as you are. I have stock control arms but just finished the install of the MM Pan Hard bar. Night and day diff! Lwr control arms and the Torque arm will be next. Then delete the upper arms.
