ok here is my problem, I have an 88 mustang Gt, that has been modified and currently has about 300 horsepower. The suspensions is completely stock. I am wanting to upgrade the suspension to hang in the corners like a fly on flypaper. I don't want it though to ride so rough that I shake all the screws loose from the car. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
Steeda, Maximum, Griggs, all are good, some just cost more than others.. I think out of those Steeda costs the least but still has good quality.
*I said this so we dont have 20 people saying the same one*
any that I forgot?
ok, it boils down to how much money do you want to spend? If you have $4000 burning a hole in your pocket, go Maximum Motorsport and get their top of the line kit, it is the best out there, and they have other kits in different price ranges
When you are talking about cornering like a fly. You getting into autox or something? If so, I want to get into that. I need to do something but go straight all the time
Before purchasing a suspension system, why not get in contact with Griggs, Maximum and Steeda. Talk to them about what each has to offer and what they recommend for your setup. While I have not dealt with Steeda directly, I have spoken to Griggs and Maximum on numerious ocassions and I think you will be very impressed with how knowledgeable and helpful they are.
One point worth noting is that while Steeda makes and markets specialty Mustangs, Griggs and Maximum's sole business is Mustang suspension and handling.
Hope this is of some help.
