I've finally finished the install of my Griggs suspension!!!

:
The total overhaul (and I mean total!) included Griggs K frame, tubular A-Arms, Front and Rear coil overs with Koni Adj struts/Shocks, Panhard bar, and Torque arm. I installed some of the parts but the big items like k, TA and PHB was left to Shadow Performance located in LI NY. Vinnie did a wonderful job on the welding and k frame install, all in the 10000* NY heat. The rear is where I fell the biggest difference. The new three link allows the removal of the upper control arms and quad shocks and this new setup revised the rear roll center (lowered it). The new roll center virtually eliminates the bounce and sideways shimmy when cornering over bumps, and works in conjunction with the revised geometry of the front K frame. My short experience with the car is that it handles like it's never handled before. Stiffer then my old Steeda setup but by FAR superior in all out cornering ability. There's no worry about spinning out since the rear is planted hard in the corners by the ta and phb. Nose dive under hard braking is completely eliminated. The total setup removed about 60#'s from the front end and added about 35#'s the the rear where you want it. The car goes where I point the wheel and it feels like the car pivots around the back in a turn instead of the front. In other words the front feels much lighter to turn. For anyone interested in doing suspension mods forget the lowering springs and hard bushings approach, get a phb and ta welded in. It's the single most effective upgrade you can do. Plus you can upgrade as you go. Get the rear done first then do the front. You can keep the ride height stock but you'll need 300# springs out back for proper ta function.
All-in-all, I need better seats cuz the stock ones won't hold me in!!
