Arrow 66' Drifting

Thanks AFM for making a forum just for me ... haha but seriously if anyone knows any tips on getting a good drift ... when it is wet out (right after a rain) wow my car just slides all over ... to me its fun ... I would rather have it drift then grab the road ... just my preference ... if anyone knows any techniques on gettting a longer drift or performance for my 66' for drifting it would be appreciated...

Don't drift that car man.

When you miscalculate, and mess it up... well your going to be wishing you didn't try it. I suggest a different vehicle for drifting.

Just my .02

Yeah, we all want to preserve the classics, but man, those early cars sure are easier to work on when they break....

I say enjoy your car no matter what you are doing with it...

As for drifting, try to do it in a safe situation, prefereably at one of the many amatuer drift clinic events which are popping up all over the place, often in the same big parking lots where autocrosses are set up, but on different days. Do not try to enjoy drifting by taking out a bunch of cones at an autocross event, that is a big no-no and will get you repremanded and maybe asked to leave.

Keep it safe for you, your car, and others, and have fun!!
