where to mount a fire extinguisher in a convertible

I'm driving my 05 convertible at Laguna Seca on Labor day (Green Flag Driving, along with Shelby Club) and they require a fire extingusher.

Should I get Powder or halon?

Also, where to mount to minimize impact on the daily driver but also keep it accessible if needed?? A good place to zip tie it? Or should I screw it in somehwere?

Mine is installed in front of the drivers seat, with with a regular car mount.

For some time i also had it on the left side of the seat, but in case of a lateral impact might not be able to access it.
