Default Pro3i info

I'm just curious if anyone has had experience with Pro3i components. I'm specifically looking at their RLCA's and caster/camber plates.

Thanks.

JW, PRO 3I is not a manufacturer or a designer, they buy cheap knock offs, on suspension, spend your money wisey, and get a well known company, like Maximum Motorsports, Griggs, or Steeda. There is a reason why people brag so much about parts from the well known companies

Thanks. I was kind of wondering about the comparisons. All the reviews about the Pro3i parts were compared to maximum motorsports.... Especially the LCA's. I just spent some $$ on H&R sport springs and do not want to screw things up cheap knock-offs.

I was just reading the reviews on stangnet. I knew one company owned the other so I was suspecious. Whether the reviews are bogus or not it just makes you kind of wonder.

JW, if they were so good, 5.0 and MM&FF would be raving about them, and their advertisers would be selling them.

Stangnet, FocusFrency and Pro3i are all one and the same. That should help you understand why Pro3i parts are pushed and marketed so hard on both stangnet and focusfrensy. As Twister pointed out in his posts, have you seen Pro3i parts recommended or reviewed on any other sites? Now you know why.. and it should also help you appreciate the prespective and purpose of the reviews.

Thanks again. Probably going to focus on steeda or maximum motorsport. It's a winter project so I've got some time to figure it all out.

I've purchased Steeda parts through Pro3I and I've been very pleased. So, you can still get some quality parts through Pro3I if you again stick with name brands. Think of it this way.... Would you buy generic beer? Stick with the name brands. You'll thank yourself for it in the end.

Just my 2 cents worth.

um...why settle for a bland average beer designed for the masses?

get a great, well designed beer made by enthusiasts, while not as famous, but well known by beer drinkers..kinda like Maximum Motorsports or Griggs parts

I Live in Auburn, AL, which is where pro3i is located. They are overpriced, very, very overpriced for what they sell. In my opinion, ordering through ANYONE else would be much, much wiser. I have had no good luck with the owern, just because I own a V6 and he is one of the kind of people who believes a "true" mustang is V8 or bust, so he really didn't care to help me. You wanted a first hand opinion and I am giving you one. The products they make are knock offs, and everything else they just order straight through the suppliers and add a 15-50% price increase. You could do the same thing yourself. I hope this could help you out.

I was a little harsh with that last statement, and didnt want to sound like a total ass. The owner does know what he is doing, it's just that there is no point in overcharging on parts someone could order themselves. I know that pretty much nobody in the local mustang club uses the pro3i parts, just because they trust name brands better. Other than that, if you're near auburn and need custom mustang service, pro3i is actually decent. They can install just about anything if you can afford it. Just my two, er four cents...

I do not see where Pro3i is overpriced. It's like any company out there doing business. The Items I've gotten from them have been the lowest price I could find on the net. You have to do your homework before you purchase anything, thats just being smart. Now I'm not saying everything is cheeper, I can't say that because I have not compaired all prices they have advertised. I can only speak for what I've purchased from them.
They have been an excellent vendor to do business with and I will use them again if they are the most inexpensive for the item I'm in the market for. As I mentioned before, I only purchase the name brand items and not manufactures I'm unfamiliar with only because of price.

I'm real partial to the Steeda brand parts because of the quality of workmanship I've seen. Pro3i has had the best price so far on the Steeda items. They have also shipped the items shortly after I've placed the internet order and I recieve them in 2 days. Granted I live just outside Mobile, but others I've ordered from in Alabama have taken longer.

IMO, they have been fantastic to deal with and I would not rule them out for future purchases. I'm sorry to hear you have had a bad experience with them. It sounds to me there is a personnality conflict with the owner. There are many knowledgable people here on the forum that could help answer your questions. Read the forums, make your decision, then find the vendor with the cheapest price you can find.

Good luck with your future mods.
