Default 88 5.0 tubular k-member\fender problems

I recently installed a maximum motorsports tubular k-member,
a-arms, and coil over's on my 1988 5.0 stang. I got the k-member with the zero offset controll arms, this moved the front wheels forward 3/4'' of an inch. The install went fine untill It came to the front wheels. I have ford racing's cobra R 17x9 wheels and 245/45/17 nitto 555's. I am having fittment issues with the fenders and the splash gaurds. I have already removed the front fender extention's and splash gaurds and trimmed 3/4'' of an inch of metal from the front of the fender just so i can get it aligned.I realize that I can use a fender spreader to gain more clearance but im going to install the cervinis cobra kit and I feel that the double stick tape they use on the front fender extentions will not stay stuck too long if I use spreader bars on the fender extention's and it will probably even distort the extention itself.
HELP!.

Cant think of a better solution, i say try it.

Another route would be to place locking plastic pins or screws epoxy-glued into the interior of the cervini pieces, at least on the max stress points, and use the tape elsewhere.

You will need to remove some material from the cervini piece so the head of the screw/pin is flush to the surface. Then you drill a hole (ouch) in the body panel.
