Default All I can say is WOW!

My car's been on Jackstands since December 23rd, waiting on a water pump, hoses etc.

While it was in the air, and since I couldn't work my second job without it -I actually had time to install all the Kenny Brown pieces that have been waiting in the garage. I also went about taking care of the little bit of rust that's formed since moving to a land of salt and winter.

I installed the Strut Tower Brace, the Caster Plus, and the 4 pt lower chassis brace (that was a real PITA, I ended up ovalling the drill holes, and will have to weld in the washers). I already had the double cross connectors installed.

The difference is amazing.

Cornering is totally controllable, -it's no longer tippy, and it feels like the car is all on the same page. It's actually close to my 1968 in handling -Still a little off, but totally controllable.

The car feels more solid than Jasmine's Volvo S40, and my exterior rear view mirror rarely shakes. Some of the ruts that used to make me cringe when I drove over them just get swallowed up without any drama, whatsoever -even with the OEM shocks with 152,000 miles on them.

__________________________________________

I still have the jacking rails and the extreme matrix to install (I had scheduled jacking rails to be installed between Christmas and New Year's -but the water pump and the alternator swallowed up that budget.

When jacking the car, as it was, both front and rear wheels come off the ground already, can't wait to see what a difference the other pieces will make & after the new suspension pieces come in.

Nice, that's the same system I have. I have the level 4 KB setup with panhandle rear. I could only install the jacking rails, because the matrix wont fit on my vert. It Handles like Night, and day. Cornering stays very flat with little body roll. It also upgrades some of the rubber bushings to polyurethane. The lower chassis brace makes a huge diffrence in the front end, even more so with the strut tower brace. If i get the rear loose, it comes right back to were it should be with just a tap of the brakes.

I don't even have to do that -only the accessories go past the strut tower with the 3.8L.

I can just modulate with the throttle when the rear breaks loose.

I picked it up a while ago over a year - it took me a while to install it. I painted over the sticker, the only install pic I have is on my Cardomain page.

you don't want to weld it in. You may have to remove it for servicing.

Don't use the guide though. I bent it slightly trying to get the first spot, and the second hole I had to oval out to get it to fit. Either measure it, or use a long paint marker that will fit through the second set of holes to find the drill spot.

Hummmm….i don’t know about just bolting, numerous sources say the bots will “wallow” there way out over time and then will fail, now I’m trying to picture this in my head what would need to service? The braces?

Oil pan for sure, maybe the starter, - I'll have to climb underneath and check one of these days . ..

Just tighten them down whenever you change your oil . ..
I can't believe the 4-pt brace bolts would wallow much - I had a hard time removing them when I found out the second hole didn't line up. I mean a really hard time . .
