the best track depending where you are in western mass, I go to is just outside mass. just off the mass pike, just 1 mile into N.Y.. lebonon valley raceway, they have nrha, and street comp, for the street driver races on the week ends and week days weather permitting. for a fee you can race who you want or they put you up agaisnt proven times similar to yours. great group all willing to help you out and many things to improve your stuff.
If you are into road racing, there is NHMS(formerly NHIS). There is Lime Rock Park in Lakeville, CT (NW Corner). Watkins Glen is a 6-7 Hour drive from Southeast MA. Mt. Tremblant and Calabogie are great tracks in Canada around 8-9 hours away.
I know most people on this site Drag race. I just bought an 88 LX 5.0 that I started taking to the Road courses. This site is full of useful info, and will be leaning heavily on it as I make the car a capable road racer.
