Default 2002 Mustang GT Seatbelt Relocation

I just installed a set of Recaro speed seats to help keep me planted where I should be during autocrossing. However, the seat belt bracket is mounted on the stock seats in 02' and I was wondering what others have done to relocate it. I was thinking about relocating it to the recaro seat brackets by drilling them out or to the floorboards like in my 1996 GT. Any other ideas aside from telling me to get harnesses? Thanks!

Get a harnesses….J/K
I would not mount it to the seat brackets, my guess if there was an impact it would bend/break the bracket. Relocating it to the floor would be my choice, find some really huge washers for both sides of the sheetmetal and use grade 8 bolts/nuts.

If you have access to a welder I would also weld the washers to the floor plan.
