Default Which first: SFC or LCA?

Just a quick question (I feel like such a newb), but I was wondering which mod should I go with first. Sub-frame connectors, or lower control arms? I have enough $$$ for one, but not both at this time.

I would go for the Sub-Frame connectors. You will need them to prevent the unibody from twisting on hard launchs. The LCA's will help achieve getting the power to the ground meaning you would need the SFC at that point. JMO

Subframe connectors should actually be everyones first mods. You would be amazed just how much the unibody flexs.

YAY!!!! Right answers all around!! SFC's for sure. They are cheaper than a good set of LCA's and like the guys said, should be the first mod. No I didnt get em, yes, I started on my car without a plan. Now I know better. Get the full-length versions with the cross braces and have em welded in. Then start with the LCA's and your on your way to getting the most out of your cars performance ability, as well as anything you add to it.

Sub-frames with protect your car from flexing. Most of all, you never want the body to flex. Therefore the sub-frames will help prevent the twisting moment on the unibody. I purchase the Kenny Brown Super Sub-frames from Pro3i for $99.95. They are a thick material than the standard one and come with the cross brace which mounts to the seat bolts. They run from the torque box to the firewall. I feel they are an excellent product at a great price.

I also highly recommend the axle braces that pauls high performance manufactures $129.95. You would not beleive how much your axle flexes under acceleration. I feel the axle braces on my car have helped my track times conciderably.

Here is a link to the article for axle braces.

Steeda Lower controL arms $239.95
I recommend the steeda one because you can upgrade to the competition LCA by just replacing the bushings.

so my shopping cart would be:
Kenny Brown super sub-frames from Pro3i
Axle braces from Pauls High Performance.
LCA's from Steeda
