Default Roush Driveability

Looking at having the Roushcharger (and yes- exhaust and other amenities) installed on my '10 GT, but I am hesitant to spend the money without some input from others.
Anyone care to relate any stories for me? Drive-ability? Reliability? My wife and I love using it as our summer cruiser, so we make a lot of high mile trips- that is what has me hesitant.
I ultimately am looking at having more low RPM "grunt". Anyone have any better suggestions to achieve this?
Unfortunately this 4.6 isn't anything like the old cast pigs I used to work on, so I won't be doing any of the work but any suggestions for a decent shop in Southern Sask would be welcome too.

That is an old video, the new Roush Stage 3 comes with a 4.6 with forged short block and a newer design TVS 2300 blower. It's rated very low at 540 hp at crank. First real world dyno test got 500-508 rwhp. MM & FF has a test of it coming out next issue. Got 11.8 sec's in 1/4 stock with street tires, 11.4 with slicks. Really need to upgrade a couple of other things if you want to add that power. Even with the stock motor and the new blower, tuners have been getting approx 475 rwhp. Google 540 Hammer and see the new Roush motors or go to their site. Done by an authorized installer and you still retain the 3 year/36,000 mile warrenty. Just had mine done two weeks ago at the Roush "Mother Ship" in Mich. Quick shot of new blower and CAI and twin 60mm throttle bodies. Mileage went down to 19.7 mpg steady state driving at 70-72 mph.

So what your saying is to go with the whole shot (block, etc) or is the M90 a blower that can strap straight to a stock block and drive train? Sorry if I seem a little dumb with this one
