Just washed my stang, took some pictures.. everybody check out the interrior.. any solutions to the dirty carpet?? its just my side, because when im at work or school im usually near some kind of dirty water/mud.. Is there a special rug cleaning product? or where can i buy the exact matts?

Other than that dirty carpet part, my cars spotless

..

Help wanted/needed.

I was planning myself on picking up some new carpets when mine got worn out. i wanted to get ones for the back seat anyway. I was looking up ones with the "GT" colored logo in Vista Blue

I just got new mats with a black GT logo and Red carpeting and it looks great. The mats with the logo on it really makes a difference in the interior.

As for the dirty carpets, go to your local auto store and see if they sell a special shampoo for it. I'm lucky because I do floors for a living and clean carpets as well so I have access to a heavy duty carpet cleaning machine.

I know there's a good cleaner you can get, I can't remember the name right now but it's in a yellow can.

My carpet could use some work as well. If I can't find a good cleaning product, I'll probably just go to black vinyl flooring. The carpet shampooer just won't fit...

Try "spot shot" it's excellent for stains.
I have a pressure washer and always wash them that way, vacuuming just dosen't clean them thouroghly.

Try any lo foam carpet cleaner liduid or spray , just make sure you rinse well , and get the excess water out, the best thing is a heated commercial carpet cleaner , call a professional and see if he has time to fit you in usually they'll do it cheap meet them at a job , also american muscle has the matts cheap oem quality

Never thought of that- but yeah, i went to American Muscle.. but the matts dont come in my grey interrior?.. i dont see them.

Use Resolve Carpet Cleaner. It works great on any carpet job.

Thanks, thats going to be my car in a few years also.. passing it down.. Its a 79.. he originally had a 73 Trans Am 455 stick.. there was only a little amount made and he had one.. sadly- he was a kid and sold it after years of having it, not knowing it would be worth what it is now days..

.. but we are in the process of restoring it, engines done for the most part, interrior needs a few lil things like new head liner, and were gonna get new door panels.. but other than that- we need a new paintjob and itll be great! cant wait till its mine.. itll be my weekend car

Simple Green works as well on carpet as any other cleaner or shampoo I've seen.. I know a detailer who uses it and he's the one that suggested it..

From day one, I have kept clear plastic floor mats over the floor mats she came with, That has help keep the carpet looking new after almost 2 years. Just a thought for after you get her cleaned up. Oh and she is looking great! My Angel needs a bath hint hint LOL
