Default Clean up scoops

I am eventually wanting to get a new hood . For now I would just like to clean up a little bit.
I am wanting to take out the plastic inserts in the hood and side scoops.(02 GT)
I have seen a couple out there without these , How do I take them out. I dont want to just start ripping things apart and cuting , want it to be clean.
Are there going to be holes in the hood/body without these inserts?

Are you planning on cleaning them, then putting them back? or taking them out and leaving them out?

I just got a new hood painted, and they had to transfer it over to the new hood. It looked like it was held on by some sort of adhesive glue. I think it got put back on using double sided tape.

what i don't get is the rear fender scoops on early model sn 95 like the 94-95's the scoops go through the body and there is a panel for cooling off the tires and my 98 has the scoop but there are no holes underneath!!

seriously , Nobody know for sure??
I want to take this honeycomb plastic out.
is it glued , is it screwed?
if its gone will the extra air rip the scoop off?
I really dont want to find out the hard way.

if it's screwed....your screwed lol cuz the only way to get to them would be to take apart the interior..
i'm leaning towards they jus pop in like most of the plastic on the car..doesn't mean go pull on it lol jus be careful with what you do
