Default Focus seats in 1988 Mustang hatchback?

One of my buddies has [had] a Ford Focus until it got totaled yesterday. It's black on the interior and exterior, and knowing that I'm doing an interior restoration on my 88Hatchblack, he offered me the front seats [which are black] for use in my Mustang.

My question is, will Focus seats fit on the rails in my Mustang? I think there's a possibility that they do, because they're both Ford cars.

My other concern is if they will be too tall to fit in the car...I don't really know if they are or not, but I'm pretty sure that his Focus is taller than my Mustang. If that's true, the seats might be taller also, and therefore too high to fit into the Mustang.

Opinions/knowledge/suggestions?

My personal opinion, and its just that, is I would use seats made specifically for the year model mustang you have. OEM or aftermarket custom seats, either one.. You can always do the trial and error thing and see if the Focus seats fit..but..
My $0.02 worth..

Not sure if they fit the rails for your seats, but if they don't, you can get some brackets like what Holcomb Motorsports have and they have multiple mounting points to fit a variety of seats. These brackets make it a straight bolt in that way.
