other than the expensive Zaino ................

ZAINO, nothing beats it.

I have used Meguiars, Mothers and Zaino beats the hell out of those and anything else out there

Meguiar's user here. I've seen what Zaino does on damaged paint...AMAZING(Meguiar's couldn't repair it). I have paint that is 2 years old on a car that has seen the sun for maybe 5 months worth collectively, so I don't know what it would do for me. But older paint, deffiantely try Zaino, it looks to be well worth the price and time.
