cleaning your rims

What does every one on here use as far as cleaning there rims after they wash there car. I have used windex but now I am using my detail spray?

Well if their chrome use chrome polish, and if they are satin finished use wax. and if you get some stuff that won't come off after you wash and wax them use a very fine compound thats what i do and they come out awsome. takes alittle time but worth it to me.

I use ZAM a jewlers polishing compound ,and a buffing wheel on a drill for chrome. Mothers I also use with a buffing wheel.

Cleaning the rims I do when I come to finishing up washing each side so I can empty and refresh the bucket... I use car wash and a brush from R & S to get inbetween... then polish and wax like the rest of the car... being careful not to get any on the brakes...

I pull each wheel off several times a year so I can clean the inside of the wheel as well. Usually, I use the same bucket I cleaned the car with, then follow up with some spray detailer and tireshine. As I use my car mostly for show, I take this time to detail the suspension and wheel well as well.

I do that as well. Amazing the stuff that gets built up in there.
