Default I've Tried Z16,Back to Black & TurtleWax Ice

But nothing brings the black trim on my son's jeep back. I use Z16 on my 05 Mustang, and it works great, but I've taken care of the 05 since she was new. The jeep was bought used, and we were told it was never garaged. The trim is a white, gray in some places.Back to black lasted about a week, as did the Ice. Any ideas? Thanks for any replies!

The Ultima Tire and Trim sounds pretty good. I also read about Black Wow. Others have suggested painting the trim with vinyl paint. There is a good auto paint supply shop in a nearby town, I might check into that as well. Thank you for the tip on Ultima!

Z16 is a Zaino product. It's for tires and exterior trim. It does not turn tires brown, and it will not sling onto your car like so many other tire dressings. I've been using it on my 05 Mustang since it was new, and all of the trim looks great. If you use too much or don't buff it off enough, it can "bleed" or run off a bit when you wash the car, or get caught in the rain. It comes right off though, no damage at all to painted surfaces.Like all Zaino products, you have to get used to using a lot LESS than you think. It works great at keeping new trim looking good, but I need something to restore the trim on the 2000 Jeep. I read up on a product from Griots Garage last night. I might try that.
