... and I want to go with the Cobra rims, 17x9 F and 17x10.5 R, is this set up okay and what size tires should I run??? I was thinking a 245/40 and 275/45 something like that... any other suggestions would be great.

i too am looking for new rims and tires, i think im gonna go with the 17" ROH rims, and i have huge traction problems, right now i have 235F and 245R, im gonna go with 235F and 275R, but i wanna ask you experts if i could fit 275 on the back without having to modify anything, and without having the tires stick out the fender walls???

I want to do the same thing with the cobra wheels but I am actually wondering maybe even if the 18" wheels will fit on a 1987 gt vert. but if they cant then I would definately want to try the 17x9 in front and maybe larger in back and with 245/40 front and back again maybe with the back larger. but i am not sure what will fit and what modifications i have to do to make it fit!???
