I have used Meguires Quik Detailer (product #A3316 ) for 4 years now and I absolutely love it. With a few quick sprays, it removes dirt and grime without scratching or swirl marks and enhances the boldness of the clear coat without any residue buildup what-so-ever. I've experimented with many "in between waxing", products and ever since I came across this, its been my favorite and first recommendation. I can usually knock out my entire car in 10 min and I always keep a bottle in my trunk with a microfiber cloth so I can stay sharp in all situations. It runs about $7 per bottle and I pick it up at Auto Zone.
Excellent review, I think this will be a really useful way to let people know about products!
I have tried Mothers and Meguires instant detailer and I would look at my clean car curious why it didn't glow... I had cleaned the paint, etc and just wasn't getting a shimmer... it wasn't wet looking after I would use the instant detailer and I wanted a wet looking sleek looking paint. I was at Auto Zone one Saturday just looking at products, wondering what to buy next - my next step was buying a product online from the company I purchase my wax from...
I saw the last bottle of the Ice Detailer and really just figured I'd try it.... give it a go. I did and am thrilled with the product. It helps give my car the extra shimmer it needs after a quick detail and the car literally glows.
It's found at many places, including R & S and Auto Zone and it's right around $9.

Well I have used several of the highly recommended "quick detailing" sprays and I have used each several times. I figured I would post my reviews of each of the products along with what I have found to be the characteristics of each. So here goes and the order I have listed them in does NOT indicate their rank. In fact it would be very hard to rank them because all the products are very close and each are very very good. Although I will give my quick ranking at the end of this post:
Turtle Wax Ice Quick Detailer - Excellent shine and cleaning capabilities. Works in easily with a microfiber cloth. Seems to be good in direct sunlight with a minimum of streaking.
Griot's Garage Speed Shine - Excellent for when your car's surface is a bit dirtier, water spots, dried pollen, etc. Leaves a nice shine but I don't think it shines quite as well as the other products listed here.
Meguiars Ultimate Quick Detailer - Leaves an excellent shine, probably the equal of the Turtle Wax Ice in that department. I would use this only on a fairly clean surface. Not to be used in direct sunlight or on a hot surface....will streak in that circumstance. Does not seem to work in as easily as the other products at first but then gets better as you buff a little.
Mother's California Gold Showtime Detailer - Exceptional shine and works in quite easily. I have used it in direct sunlight and it willl streak slightly when used like that. So it's better to use on a cool surface in the shade like the Meguiars product, although it doesn't streak nearly as bad on a warmer surface.
Now if I were forced to rank them based on overall performance I would rank as follows:
1) Mother's California Gold Showtime Detailer - to my eye a noticeably deeper and more "wet looking" shine. It is my quick detailer of choice right now.
2) Turtle Wax Ice Quick Detailer - Very close second to the Mother's shine. Excellent product.
3) Meguiars Ultimate Quick Detailer - shine is equal to or slightly better than Turtle Wax Ice but TW Ice has better overall characteristics in my opinion. But on an almost clean surface I will use this product over the TW Ice.
4) Griot's Garage Speed Shine - I use this product when the surface is a little more soiled. It's better for cleaning and shining in that circumstance. Ranked 4th only because I don't think the shine is as deep and "wet looking" as the others.
i like both i think they are both quality products. i found a tip though:
i sprayed some on my windshield and then hit it with some glass cleaner. i like my results i got. it brought out some shine and is extra smooth. now my car is like a hot knife through butter through the air at 100+ =D TRY IT!!!!
Never heard of hitting the windshield with detailer and then a glass cleaner... at least on purpose. It was always overspray and the glass cleaner to get rid of the streaks on the glass.

I purchased Obsessive Details' Waterless Wash after I had problems getting Ice off the car... I'll tell you what, I've never seen the car gleam so much. I'll get some pictures next time, I was outside staring at the car - just oogling it... I give big props to Justin for awesome products!!
I just bought a gallon for the Spring and Summer....

Ill have to go with Mother's Showtime as well. Ive only used that and the Meguiar's though, but between the two, Mother's gave it a much better gleam, smoother surface and lasting power over Meguiar's.
I use Adams Detail spray on my car. I always buy it buy the gallon and just refill if as needed. The Gallon I believe runs like 25 dollars and I have there spray bottles also that I use on the car. The best stuff that I have ever used.

I really want to try this stuff.....I have read several great reviews about it.
I also recently picked up some new stuff.....Meguiars NXT Instant Detailer and I actually like it better than Meguiars Ultimate Quick Detailer, which I have used as well too.
