Black is a tough color to keep clean but this is what I would do. Wash it at a trusted car wash or do it yourself in the driveway. Put a coat or two of Meguirs NXT 2.0 wax on the car. This gives you a great clean surface for a "California Duster." All I do when it gets dusty is gently dust it in about 45 seconds. This cuts down on the trips to the car wash as long as you don't get rained on.

Invest in a california duster and some micro-fiber towels. The duster will do just that, dust your car off real good! and the micro-fiber towels are AMAZING for getting out smudges such as hand prints and dried rain drops and stuff. I will not touch my mustang or any of my classics with a regular old towel that's going to leave those little tiny scratches all over your car. LoL

My 05 is black. I use Zaino products, and I follow Zaino's towel recommendations.(100% cotton towel with edges removed,wash,rinse twice, etc.)I have just finished detailing my car, and she looks great. Check out Zaino's website. I'm sure you will get a lot of good info from this forum, there is always much debate over what product to use. I hope you find one that works for you!

I got the California Duster last weekend and love it. It works so well that I've even been using it around the house! Brilliant product.
