The clay bar will get your spots off. That thing is the miracle cure for just about everything.

I just bought a Mother's Claybar kit and was shocked and the SMALL SIZE of two bars in the pack. It could fit in my wallet. WUWT? It would take a long day to rub my car down with the gummie worm size claybars...

My neighbor just bought one also. I was not impressed with that. By the time that he was done with it the bar was so sticky it was breaking apart.

I just used the Meguiar's clay bar for the first time yesterday. I don't understand why your neighbor had a problem. It worked great for me. I kept rekneading it as I went along. It's supposed to be sticky; that's the premise upon which it works. It doesn't "stick" to the car though if you use plenty of detailer spray.
And although the bar does appear to be small, it didn't take me very long at all. I think it took longer to wax the car afterward.
If you try it, I hope you have a better experience than your neighbor did.

Well lets just say it got so sticky it was leaving pieces of it on his car. It worked but the bar is so small I could not believe it. I use Adams Products and the Clay bar that they give you is a pretty good piece of clay and I have never had what happened to him happen to me. Maybe he got a bad one or something but needless to say I was not impressed by the size of the clay bar itself.
