Thumbs down Applying vinyls is... wow

so i got home and started doing my stripes. at around 4
and i had my friend helping me..
we worked on them till about 12 and were only about halfway done!
it's so irritating.

i getta drive to work tomorrow with half done stripes...

i'd recommend do not put them on your self!
unless you've done it before

I'm surprised you're finding it that hard. Took me 8 hours by myself. But I think the S197 is easier to stripe.

I watched our stripe guy do it - in between doing loads of wash and stuff around the house... I knew I would never, ever have the patience to do it myself - and my husband, HAHAHA, I'm glad I paid someone to put them on...

Some do and some don't... I feel for you!

Yeah...I got so frustrated I took them off and through them away. Probably will go with painted stripes.

I've done some decaling on boats, but striping a car is not something I'd want to try. Hats off to you.

OK, so I've added a few things to it. Check my Profile - too many to list here.

Well hopefully you got the other half done today. Lets see some pics of your car after you are finished with her.

nice i wouldn't be able to stripe a car i get mad way to fast. i put a full stripe decal under my door from wheel to wheel and that wasn't to bad.

the decal i hated the most was putting that damn horse on the back window like you have. would have helped had the one i bought had backing paper lining all those lines up really ticked me off lol.

looks nice.

Your car looks great!
My hood had to be repainted due to corrosion, and my stripes had to be replaced. The guy did a better job on the new stripes than the original ones. (they were dealer installed) He said the secret is a lot of water. He said you can't use too much water. I know you're finished with yours, but maybe this could help someone else.

Yeah, I might be cruising up to Iowa my damn self! The people I called charge $60 per hour and estimate 4 hours to put the stripes on (if I bring my own)!!!

I think I've decided to drop the $400 to have them put the Lemans stripes on for me and I'll do the pinstriping myself. A roll of pinstripe is $9.99 at BSM. Since I can follow the lines of the Lemans stripes, I think I can put the pinstripe on myself.
