Question Any suggestions for tire dressings ?

I want to get a product that will give the tires that jet black, showroom look. I would like the product have the following characteristcs:

1) Easy to apply
2) Will last a decent amount of time
3) Give a nice shiny, black look to the tires
4) Is completely safe for the rims, meaning that if when applying the
product it will not harm the rims (polished aluminum clear coated) if
a small amount gets on the rim until you get a chance to wipe the
rim down.

Let me know which products you guys have had success with !

Oh crap, it's Called "More Shine" made by Stoner. I thought it was called tire shine, my bad.

Stoner More Shine Tire Coating is the fastest, easiest way to make your tires look their best

I use Adams products on my tires. Not really a big shine but it has a sheen to it. I really like how it works.

I like Eagle One tire shine, myself. It's not a really shiny finish, but if you do get any on the car or the wheel, it wipes right off without buffing.

OK, so I've added a few things to it. Check my Profile - too many to list here.

lol thats my car. Yeah, everything that Stoner makes is great IMO. A little pricier than your standard armoralls and eagle ones, but def worth it.

I like the tire stuff and the glass wipes (invisible glass), buy a can you won't be disappointed.

I use eagle one (in between cans of moreshine) but the thing I don't like about it is that it is really greasy compared to moreshine. Still better than armorall though.

That's funny you say that about the tried and true Armor All!

My technique is to apply the Armor All and let it sit on the tire until it's absorbed/evaporated - perhaps an hour or more. Then I'll apply it for a second time and let it sit again for 30mins or so. The results are excellent - yeah, slightly greasy, but excellent

I use a spray product by Black Magic. I like it a lot. And if I just rinse the tires vs applying soap and washing them, I can get two uses out of it. (If you know what I mean.)
My husband fabricated a "device" for me to cover my wheel when I spray it. Works great! The product is very easy to just wipe off the car and wheels if you get it on it.
Personally, I tried and disliked that Armor All Gel stuff for tires.

i use black magic Titanium tire gel and its awesome, very high gloss shine, best tire shine ive ever used with the blackest finish it comes with a applicator so you have more precise control and so none gets on the rims heres some pics http://www.blackmagicshine.com/produ...m-tire-wet-gel
