Has anyone found a good place to buy good quality 100% cotton Car Towels and polishing cloths? I have heard good things about http://www.griotsgarage.com

Thanks

I simply use old 100% cotton t-shirts that I don't wear anymore. They seem to work great and are free at that point.

umm... any auto parts place carries good 100% cotton towels of some kind, I prefer terry cloth ones myself for cleaning/waxing.

I have a 03 Black Cobra, and I was told that Micro-Fiber towels will work best in preventing swrils and scratches. So I went to AutoZone and bought 6 Turtle wax micro fiber towels and tried them.I use one strictly for washing the car,and one for waxing. They work excellent, and have not scratched my paint at all.Try micro fiber towels and rinse your towels frequently. You know if you wash your car from bottom up... you only moved the dirt all over your car,and risk scratching your clear coat.
peace

Micro-fiber is the way to go, if you want to keep your paint from lookin' "nasty". If you don't have a dark color, terry works just fine. Try Costco/Sam's Club or whatever warehouse/bulk store for those 20 terry towels in a bag for like $7 or so... I use the micro-fiber towels to get wax off....no residue... and it picks up everything!

If anyone hasn't tried the clay bar, you don't know what your missing! The piece of clay, my "bullshi_ eraser" as I would call it, actually gets rid of all the "fallout" and crap in the paint, giving you a fresh smooth surface that I have never felt before. Mother's makes a kit with the clay bar and spray cleaner for about $20. Note: never drop the clay bar on the ground. If you do, throw it away! It's done. Unless you want to create scratch art.

I love their products but they are pricy! Even so, I still use many of them.

LOL you are supposed to wax after the clay bar for an absolutely stunning finish...
