Exclamation Can someone help me out with a body part query??

This is my first post as a AFM member. I live in medicine hat, ab..and recently bought a '88 LX Hatchback from some guy in Calgary about 4 months ago.
I knew my car had some rust when i bought it, but you should feel the power! The worst of the rust though, lies on the left rear quarter panel, as its actually taking peices of the body off. Everywhere else, its practically rust free.

Anyway, here in my city, i found a 2.3L mustang with a perfect body, but doesnt drive very well. The question is, are 2.3L body parts interchangable with 5.0L parts?? Mainly the hatch itself, Doors, and quarter panels.
I can get that car for about 400 bucks, and if i can interchange the body parts, and restore my 5ohh, the 400 dollars i spent on that 2.3L will pay for itself with 1 quarter panel alone.
Also, what about other parts?? Like the syncro mesh from the 2.3? the windshield even??
Help!! haha...

All the body parts will fit, but the four cylinder T-5 is iffy. It will work, but there are a couple of reasons why you shouldn't use it.

How much is just a quarter from Ford? I know a parts man at one of the dealerships here in Edmonton and get wholesale pricing.

Flex:
Here in the hat, if i were to get a quarter ordered from 1 of 2 ford dealerships, id be looking at about $450-575 a panel. Personally, id rather give my car away then pay those extortionate prices.
Can you help at all?

If I remember correctly (more than likely not) the stock 4-banger T5 is rated to 205 LB/FT of Torque, and the 5.0L T5 is rated to 235ish. Like I said, I honestly don't remember the exact numbers.

This is what I have so far bro. From AMP, a replacement panel supplier (Cross Canada) the prices are $264 for a 2 door hard top and $250 for a hatch. I will let you know when I hear from my Ford partsman.

Question Head removal

Im working on a 1985 Mustang LX and making it into a dirt track racer :thumbup
I am currently workin on the engine and i was wondering if anyone had any tips on how to remove a rusty old cylinder head from a block, i finally managed to get all the head bolts out and the head wont budge.
Any tips or tricks would be appreciated

dude they will so fit, there the same body and chassis, only different is engine and transmition, all body parts are same though man

Stick the handle from a floor jack into one of the intake ports and yank up on it, thatll get it loose.
